Examining business goals

Examining Our Business Goals Mid-Year

We made it to June! I suppose I’m happy about that, but a part of me feels like this year’s business goals and expectations are a bit flat. When I set out to reach my goals (business goals or personal goals), I prefer to track them in quarters. The first part of 2021 seemed to be going great, even though I knew that we wouldn’t completely meet our business goals, our product goals were expected to exceed our expectations. But then came the Etsy issues…

Even with the Etsy issues, it’s still possible to meet at least 2 of our goals concerning our business. The only problem is that we will have to strive to work even harder to do so. We do still have our Facebook and Instagram shopping experiences on, so this will help with some of the traffic issues. We do miss Etsy for that.

How you can help us meet our goals

Can you help us meet our goals? You sure can! Spread the word. Spread the love. Share our shop with your friends. Tag us on Social Media to help us grow, especially if you have purchased from us before. These things mean a lot to us. Interacting with us on social media helps us to be seen more often, and that means more than just a like or a heart. Likes are nice, but it’s great chatting with our customers!

Next steps

What comes next? Only time will tell. I’m hoping that by the time October rolls around, things will be a little different; however, I’d be lying if said that it didn’t matter. School starts back in August, and I had so hoped to be able to run my business full time and not be pulled between what is two full time positions. With all of the Covid precautions and special schedules at work, I felt like I was burning the candles at both ends by the time April rolled around. I was struggling to keep up with the demands that teaching placed on me and those from the business. It’s one of the reasons why I had really hoped to be able to hire someone. Eh. Live and learn. Right now, I’m learning to plan, schedule, and organize my time more efficiently. We have no orders currently, and a whole lot of a mess with Etsy right now, but I hope all will be cleared up by Monday. After all, it’s almost a new month.
