I must be feeling that Hippie Vibe, because I came across this really cute pattern and just fell in love with it. I was wanting something to make my granddaughter some leggings with some extra fabric that I had, plus I had seen some of the really cute pants/leggings that had the ruffled bottom cuffs and that was what I was searching for when I found this pattern.
I plan to make her and her cousin some matching pants from leftover fabrics that I don’t have enough of (and they don’t make anymore) to sell on our website. But that doesn’t mean that I can’t find some great fabric to make into cute outfits or just cute leggings to offer in our store.
I have been really thinking about where I’m headed as a business, and I’ve stated before that I really needed to get rid of lots of excess things that I don’t have room for- mainly fabric- that I don’t plan to use in my online shop. Recently I had a stroke, and I’m on the recovery side, so I have to think about what I can do and what I can’t do. While I love designing shirts and items for holidays, etc., I really have to think about coming up with fresh ideas. The goal is going to be to launch a Fall and Spring Collection so that I can offer newer selections and still have time to design a few newer Holiday items throughout the year.
The first thing I made to test out the ease of the pattern was these black knit pants with a ghost pattern. I do hope that I’ll be able to find more fabric because I have big plans for these pants.
