Change is something that seems to hold a negative connotation with it at times, especially when it comes to business, but I’m a firm believer that businesses have to learn how to roll with the times. I also believe that to be successful, we have to learn how to let go of those things that no longer work for us.
When I was in the hospital after having my stroke, I had a lot of time to think about the changes that I really wanted to make and what direction I wanted to take. When I first created the website, it was simplistic and was only used to supplement our Etsy shop. Now that we no longer sell on Etsy, we need to learn to grow into the retail and manufacturing dream that has been my vision since first creating my business in 2019.
The result of that vision is that you will begin to see some changes around here. We have added a Clearance section to remove older designs where we still have inventory on hand. We also will be rearranging our product categories and making it easier to find what you are looking for in our store.
Last but not least, we will begin to have seasonal offerings and collections that will not be permanent offerings in our shop. This is due to the changing offerings of certain fabrics. Some fabrics are only produced as part of a seasonal offering (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall) and those fabrics may not be reproduced the following season or year. In order to be successful, we want to take advantage of those offerings. Plus, this will allow us to offer more of a variety of items.
Just stay tuned as we begin to make some positive changes on the website. If you have any suggestions or requests, please be sure to leave a comment below.
