I was so excited about the fact that it was going to be possible to have all of my stuff together and have a bigger workspace, but for some reason, things never work out like you hope. Our temporary home situation ended as our 6 month lease was up, and things have not worked to our advantage where buying is concerned, and our next temporary space is not yet ready, so we have placed almost everything into storage, including renting another unit because the first one was not big enough. I swear, if it isn’t one thing it is another.
Of course, our luck is that as soon as we move into the temporary space, it will be time to move again. My son and I have both agreed that at that time, we are going to hire movers. This is just ridiculous.
In the meantime, I am ready to rock and roll. I have so many ideas that I need to get out of my head, sewn up, and then uploaded to the site. The fabric has been bought. I’m just needing the space to assemble. I need a studio. That seems like a pipe dream. I will probably find one by the end of the year, but I’m terrified that by that time it will be too late. Maybe not. Maybe it will work out sooner and I can have my studio before summer. That’s not too much to ask, right?
